How to choose 29, 52, 104, 156, or 208 cells
Size means pattern width. Height follows the source ratio unless you choose a square crop.
Choose the smallest recognizable size
Try 29 for simple icons and 52 for most first projects. Move to 104 only when an essential silhouette is missing.
Double width means four times the square cells
29 × 29 has up to 841 cells, 52 × 52 up to 2,704, 104 × 104 up to 10,816, and 208 × 208 up to 43,264.
